Hi,

I'm wondering if someone can give me feedback as to which water park you prefer. I have two boys - 14 and 12 - they enjoy water parks /rides, etc.

Thanks for your help.

We're also going to choose between these two for next week. From what I have read BB seems to have better theming and W&W has more rides/slides. This is a Disney Board so I'm guessing most people will say BB is better.

I think whichever one you choose, you will have a blast as will we. I love water parks !

The biggest difference between the two that we've found is the water temperatures. All Disney water parks say they have heated pools but our experience is the temperature they heat to is not to our liking. Plus the heavy theming, while great to look at, tends to cause the water areas to be shaded. Great in the hot summer months - not so good on a barely swimable air temperature day. WW just has the water rides, little theming but the pool temperatures are usually better. Plus the rides are in the open so you get the full sun which can make a big difference on a cooler day.

Both are fun but if theres any chance of cool temperatures we would pick Wet N Wild.

Honestly I've never been to either, but we saw a travel channel show on US waterparks and BB was ranked #2 in the USA behind Schliterbaun (sp:confused3 ).

Yes BB has nice theming and some good rides, but if you want to simply enjoy the slides and rides I would pick Wet n Wild. One thing I don't like about BB is that every slide is on the mountain so you have to go up 1 of 2 stairs or make the long line for the chair lift.Going up the same stairs constantly just gets boring.I prefer how in Wet N Wild you get to walk from slide to slide.

BB gets the edge in theming and WnW gets the edge in rides, especially if the knee ski is open.I also prefer the park layout in Wet n Wild, the no parking fee edge goes to BB.

My kids are just a little younger than yours, and they preferred wet n wild to BB or TL. We are all into the rides, except my dh, and had a wonderful time at wet n wild. BB gets the thumbs up for themeing, but for rides wet n wild wins. I am sure you will enjoy either one you chose. We enjoy them all.
