wet jumper cables

DD's car wouldn't start last night so dh used the jumper cables and started it. This morning her car again wouldn't start. And I found the cables out on the deck in the rain. Can the cables be used after they dry? I brought them in to dry.

Yes they should be fine, but make sure you dry them off. They tend to rust very quickly when wet. You might even want to spray some WD40 on them when they are dry and then wipe them off again with some paper towels to make sure they dont rust.
