We are planning to go to Wet and Wild our last day of our trip since our 5 day passes will be no good. Does anyone know much about Wet and Wild? We 'll be there March 25th-Thursday. How are crowds in March?

The crowds aren't bad at this time. I know a good deal about the park so if you have any specific questions, post them.

Thanks and I am so glad to know someone that's been here. i have read up on most of the rides. My kids are 9 and 11 and have only been to 2 waterparks in alabama which are nothing like those in Florida. Are there some rides that are great and some that are worth missing? What about the knee board ride behind the jet ski?It all sounds like a ton of fun. is it a big park with alot of walking? Anywhere to get a coupon for a discount? Any tips etc-let me know!! Thanks

Last spring break we stayed a week at the Best Western Movieland which is right across the street from W&W. We went to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and not W&W but I never saw much of a line at any of their rides.

Great!! Why didn't you go to Wet and Wild? I know it's the oldest park but what I've read it says it's very clean and a great park!!

We had 24 plus passes to use up. W&W looked OK but has no theme. We liked TL which got quite crowded as did BB.

we went to WnW last year the kids loved it also they have a tagging zone where for an additional fee u can tag your child so that u can know where they are at all times but we only went because of our flex passes which included admission to WnW I think its pretty expensive for 1 day remember essmom you will stil;l have free admission to SW that day and u may find that a cheaper alternative for entertainment espec since the kids can enjoy the on site pools rather than water parks:jester:

THANKS hIGHLANDER WE ARE GOING TO PLAY IT BY EAR BUT THEY LOVE THE WATER PARKS HERE AND I DOUBT WE'LL EVER GET BACK TO ORLANDO !!WHAT'S ANOTHER 100 BUCKS AT THIS POINT WHEN I'VE ALREADY SPENT A COUPLE OF THOUSAND hahaha!!!!

Yeah I hear that but to be honest I wasn't that impressed with WnW very concrete and no themeing but as I say my kids did enjoy it:jester: after 2pm its a lot cheaper to get in :jester:

Thanks- how much cheaper after 2. Did they close at 5 or do you remember?

The trick to WnW and all the parks is to be there early, before the gates open. Show up at 08:30am, and be the first people at the turnstyle. When the gates open, throw your towels, and stuff on a chair at the end of a wave pool, and then high tail it to the tiolet bowl slide. What a way to start your morning. Next, do the Bomber slide, the family raft, and then work your way around the back of the park for the rest of the slides (the black one). You'll have no waits, but don't be fooled. The crowd will show up. At noon, crash in the wave pool. There is a beer stand to the right side. Ahhhhhhh.

Trust me, the trick to visiting water parks is to be there before the gate opens. You get on the big slide with no wait.

I'd have to agree for the most part there. Get early and do the Storm first thing, but early on there's usually not much of a rush. Get the Bubba Tub and Blast done before lunch as they build some bigger lines. Otherwise just follow the slides around.

The knee ski, wakeboard, and Hydra Fighter all open at 12. However, the kneeski/wakeboarding may not yet be in season and has a possibility of not being open at all. If that's open then the Wild One should be open, and that is well worth the extra $4. They tow you in innertubes on a jet ski and if you ask for a wild ride, rest assured they'll give you one which may result in several wipeouts. That's for your adrenaline junkies.

I'll tell you though, the best relax secret lies in the lazy river at WnW. In it, you'll find a small alcove. In that alcove, there is a large cement bench along the edge of the pool with built in back massage jets. When you get tired and sore, keep this in mind and you'll thank me later.

After 2pm it was half price I think and the hire of towels etc was also greatly reduced:jester:
