You get 25% off the price of a ticket with your AP but you have to buy the ticket yourself in person. Is it ok for my wife and I to go to the water park, get 2 tickets and give them to my neice and nephew? I have no interest in going but they wouldn't mind.

For those of you who enjoy water parks Wet and Wild is also running a special, buy one day and get the rest of 2010 for free. So if you're hanging around Orlando for a while that would pay for itself in 2 visits.

Update: I went to the park with 2 APs, bought 2 tix and gave them to my niece and nephew. No hassle, no names keyed to tickets, didn't even ask me for ID. All I don't know yet is if the discounted tickets are good for the rest of the year. Without the discount the were around $51, using the AP they cost $38.

Thanks for the information. We're still considering a waterpark...

Another update: if you want the ticket to be good for the rest of the year you have to pay full price. So in order for us to go again we have to pay the difference between what we paid with the AP discount and full price then they give you a permanent ticket with your name on it. To sum it up, if you only want a day use your AP for a 25% discount and if you want multiple days buy a full-price ticket and get free access for the rest of your stay or the rest of the year if you plan on coming back. This is a limited time offer so check on the website to see if it is still available when you arrive.
