Does anyone have any further "fine print" on the offer found in the AAA Westways magazine for AP's? I followed the link

www.disneyland.com/westways

and there doesn't seem to be any restrictions, but I would hate to get there and find out that we aren't actually eligible! (We have CAA, here in Canada...)

Thanks for the help!

I had what I suspect is the same question as the previous poster, do you have to be a california AAA member? I have AAA in Oregon, will that work?

We used the site to buy our APs last week. What are some of your concerns?

Is it only available to So Cal or US residents? We live in Canada, and DO have CAA, but I wanted to make sure the offer was available to any members. I noticed at the top of the page there is both the AAA and CAA member benefit sign, but I just thought I would double check...

Thanks!

They don't ask for a AAA member number so there's no way for them to know which AAA you belong to. I don't even belong to AAA and I was able to purchase one. They email the ticket to you and it just says it's an Annual Passport, nothing mentioned about AAA on it. As long as you don't purchase the So Cal AP, there shouldn't be any problems with it.

Did it come with the same discount coupons that you get if you order from Disney on line?

Yes! A 10%/20% off coupon came in the email. I wasn't sure if it would so I was happy. It looks like the e-ticket comes from Disney just as if you bought it from disneyland.com. I didn't notice any difference from the last time I bought a ticket online.

I just looked at the small print on the ad in the Westways magazine and there does not seem to be any restriction on who can buy, except the usual limit that SO Cal APs can only be purchased and used by those in SoCal. The ad is actually inviting members to purchase APs for gifts, so I think it anticipates that the recipient may be outside of SoCal or not even a AAA member. -- Suzanne

YAY! Thank you so much for checking that! $10 is $10!! Especially since I procrastinated long enough to catch the price increases, instead of buying before the prices went up. Sigh.
:goodvibes
