I am leaving to WDW tomorrow. We fly Westjet. I have checked in from their web site already and selected the seats. The default seats assigned were poor. Each of us was assigned to a seat in different rows.

Westjet only allows you to select seats 24 hours before the departure time. I don't plan to bring a laptop with me and I will stay in Pop. Where can I get access to the internet in WDW?

Thanks!

the front desk will go online and do your seat selection for you I am sure. Other than that, the only internet cafe we found was at the Dolphin and it was a pain to get to!

I went to the CR and used the business center to pick my seats and print my boarding passes.

What is CR? Contemporary Resort? How much did they charge?

Thanks!

Yes, the Contemporary Resort, and free. They will let you use a computer to print boarding passes for free in the business center. They only have two computers and are only open till 4-430ish but it worked great for me in May.

I'm fairly sure that you could also get a family member/friend to do the check in for you, and that you could just get the passes reprinted when you get to the airport (you should double-check when you get to the airport on the way down, just to be sure).

I know we've done web-checkin when our printer wasn't working before, and this is what they did (just reprinted). But you'd still be checked in with your seats selected, and if there's a (usually shorter) line for those already checked in, you'd be eligible for that too.

Just checked:

If you were unable to successfully print your boarding pass you can print your boarding pass at a WestJet Self- serve check-in kiosk (select airports only) or see a WestJet Customer Service Agent at the Baggage drop at the airport.

If you are going to Disney Quest on your last night, there are computers on one level, near the cafe, that have internet access (for free). I used one to check in for my flight. I seem to recall it being slow to load pages, but it still worked. I just printed out our tickets at the airport kiosk.

The cost for using the intetnet at the Contemporary Resort business center is $10.00 for every 15 minutes, however I don't think you would be charged for that part because it should not take long to check-in. However you would be charged for actually prining them, although I don't know how much that would be.

Although the WDW resort business centers charge $10 for every 15 min, they will let you use the computers to print boarding passes for free. I have done it at CR and CSR multiple times. And the printing is free as well.

I did not know that because I had always seen the signs saying how much it cost to print something, so I did not think they would wave it for printing boarding passes.

and on our return had seats in different rows.

We booked and paid for a seat for our under 2 year old. We had called and specifically asked to sit together (3 in our party) --- they said they would take care of it ---- but didn't.

I won't fly Westjet next time for this reason. If you have a family with a very young child it's in the airlines own interest to seat you together (2 parents to occupy the child) but there were at least 2 other families in the same boat on our flight.

I would have been willing to pay extra to pre-book seats (when I book - not 24 hours out when I don't have internet access.)

Hope you have better luck.
