I just wanted to see if westjet vacations was booking with free dining - they are - so I plugged in some info to see what it would come out to.

From Winnipeg, flying August 24 - August 31 (7 nights) at Pop, 2 adults, 2 children, with 7 day base ticket...

5695.91:scared1:

Pop for 7 nights is 684.62

Tickets are about 900 (too lazy to look up actual numbers:lmao: )

And it said on my booking sheet that the dining was free on special offer.

So, the package w/o flights is 1584.62 (approx)

So they are charging 4100 for flights? Like over a thousand per person???

We paid 1630 for our 4 flights through NW. That's 2 1/2 times more.

WOW - is all I have to say!

We priced Westjet for our trip, Haifax to Orlando, for August. They wanted $4400!:scared1:

So yet again, we will cross the border and go to Bangor. We bought flights on Delta for $1468.

I would suggest that anyone who lives near a border airport to take advantage of it.

We too are going in August and are flying Jet Blue out of Portland. $684.00 for 3 of us compared to $2250.00 from Halifax. I can't understand the reason for the big difference.:headache:

we are going in late april......4 adults.....7 nights at pop, 7 day park passes, free hopping, free water parks, airfare and all taxes from Halifax to Orlando.........$3200......with meals we expect to pay out $4000.

We checked out the free dining at the end of august.........$1800 for the family of 4, no hopping, no water parks.......and the airfare was approx $3200 additional.

Unfortunately that is why we are flying United in December. Even though WJ is based out of Calgary (we love their customer service) and we live here I simply cannot justify those prices for flights (not a pkg).

As much as I love Westjet....it seems that they are turning out to be just like AC !
I've proved to myself time after time that package deals are not in fact deals !:confused3
DIY....is the way to go...through US departure points most likely.

For the most part....TAXES :headache:
Out of US about 20-30$
From Canada over 200$

This is my families first trip to Disney and we booked with Westjet. Our total is $4130. ( there abouts) for myself and 3 children (14,12, and 10 which are concidered adults now) Flight (parents fly free), 7 day park hopper, water parks and more and DDP. Staying at POP, 8 nights but leaving in the middle of the night so it hardly counts. So how does this sound, there was no way to drive to the US for a flight. I'd love to hear some comments.

Thanks

I regularily see flights only from Toronto to Orlando for a family of four being around $4100. It all depends on the time. NW is always much cheaper because of the connections and times.

DH and I booked flights for $520 for both of us with West Jet and then now the same flights are over $2200.
