Westjet from Orlando to Toronto ??

What gate do we go to? Does DME drop us off there, or do we have to wander around and find it? What has been your experience?

Westjet has their check-in desk on side A of MCO.

DME will drop you off on side A and you will have to locate it yourself. It's really easy to find.

You'll have to check-in if you didn't do so on-line, and take your bags to the x-ray machines.

If I remember correctly you should be flying out of gates 20-29 after you pass through security and take the tram.

I just flew Air Canada on Thursday and West Jet's check in was right beside us. Terminal A and I can tell you that you should do your shopping and grab your snacks before you go through security and then head over to the gates becuase we were gate 22 and with all of the construction, there isn't anything much over at the gates. There was a small food are and allthey had was Burger King.

They may not let you bring the snacks through security. Just check before you buy.

Once you drop your bags off at the x-ray machine after checking-in you don't need to wait over there, because once they are cleared then they will go on the luggage carousel behind the WestJet check-in desk.

Quite true!! I forgot this point. West Jet was lovated right beside the luggage drop off point so you won't have to haul it around everywhere.

I agree that food won't go through security (mind you I did see a lady do it and they let her) but I was referring more to killing time at the airport - don't be in a rush to get to your gate 2 hours before the flight as there is NOTHING over there!!
