Westjet is supposed to fly to MCO from YYZ starting in Oct-I've put in a couple of different dates and the flights are already sold out? (esp. around Xmas time). Looks like they picked a winner this time.

I booked for Feb/05 with Westjet. Better rates than AC. But......I was surfing other sites and found the same WJ flight for $400 cheaper. Oh well!
What great white north province are you from?
Alberta Rocks!!

I checked the West Jet website and found flights still available in October. I didn't check Nov or Dec. If I were you, I would phone them and have them check for you. You can still book your flights online to get airmiles and online booking discount, but at least you're not wasting your time going back and forthsearching their website for flights.

We're flying Westjet Calgary to Orlando on October 17th...can't wait!!:cloud9:

our 4 tickets from YYC cost 2500,direct flight. I was checking at American express website. I am going to try and contact WJ to see if they will give me the difference.

Hey LanaD, is this your 1st trip to Orlando? I wish we were going in October. It's our anniversary month. Are you going to be there for Halloween?

FYI!!
I just checked WJ and the same flight I already booked is now $3165 Ouch! AC is $2915 and on the american (American) express travel page was $2475 cdn. So if anyone from YYC is planning a WDW trip for 2005, start looking for tickets!
If anyone is going to Universal Studios,I found a link to get the 2 days for 5 at $89 US each. The universal studios website was $94.95 and RCI was $99.95US.

Wow!! You're right about the American Express Travel page. I am from Calgary also. My husband and I have been planning on another trip to Orlando from Feb 27 to Mar 13 and sure enough, $600.00 cheaper. I wonder if I should book it now. That is a chunk of change to save! We wanted to wait and see how my son's grades were going to be this year (he had straight A's last year), but that is quite a deal to pass up!

That's a tuff one! I guess you take a chance no matter when you book. I booked rather early w/ WJ and thought is was the best deal. It was a better deal at the time and I also like the fact the we have a direct flight from Calgary. We did the red eye once from Calgary to TO and then to Orlando. That I was brutal and would not do it again.

Well, last year I paid about $534. The same flight so far is $376. I am very pleased with this price, and a bit concerned the seats will sell out quickly as we are not talking about that many seats being available. It is just hard to know, that is all.

well i here all these prices great white north your flights are from calgary yes ,for 4 people.I,m flighing from seattle 4 people $1299 canadian all taxes ,$79 for parkn, fly.I live vancouver Island. Some other replies about flights have me confused . Price and how many people have to be defined.

Hi Karen, I looked into flying from SEA but for us to either drive or fly there would cost us the same or only a few 100$ less. I guess I am paying for the convenience too of a direct flight that arrives in the early afternoon. I have read on these boards that easteners get even better deals flying from Buffalo!

Yup, our first trip. Been planning this since our youngest was a baby in Jan 2000 (he will turn 5 in WDW). We have four children, so we were really happy about the direct flight to Orlando as well. We will be there Oct 17-31, but haven't decided what to do about MNSSHP. It's a toss-up between that and SeaWorld. By the way, what Anniversary will you be celebrating in October?:cheer2:

P.S. I have only one problem. How do I avoid the trick-or-treating issue, since we get home on Oct 31st at 6:30pm? Wish the plane could be delayed a couple of hours!

Hi Lana, Sorry I could't get back to you any sooner, busy w/ work, volunteer stuff and my kids go backt o school on Monday!!!
I aslo have the computer to myself for about an hour tonight.
My husband and I are celebrating our 20th Wedding anniversary.
I would love to be in FLorida!
We nave not been to MNSSHP but we have been to Seaworld. THere are lots of great animals to see. You can pet the dophines, pet the stingrays, feed the very noisy sea lions. THe rides are great too. We also went to Budweiser Beer school (just me and my DH) had fun learning how's it made and had a few samples.
Not sure what you could do about the 31st. Maybe go for a meal some where or stop and get groceries or just get them ready when you get home a go out for an hour or so. You will probably find some great costumes a WDW!pirate:

Well, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!:love2: I wish you could go to WDW too! You'll have to make sure you and DH do something extra special to mark this upcoming milestone. Thanks for the insight on Sea World. I think that's what we are leaning towards.:fish:

Thanks Lana:rose:
Yes it would be Magical to be at WDW but we are planning a short weekend trip away. we are hoping to back to SW on our next trip too! I really want to do the Luau. Let me know the details if you go to it. The website will often have tickets @par so I am checking every couple of days to get in on that.
