Halifax to Orlando direct flights on Sundays in May (and other months likely) were changed.
My return flight went from 5pm departure to 9am departure from Orlando.

They did the same with the St. John's flights on Saturdays.

I just checked our flight down (on Sun May 13 through Halifax) - while I have not received an email and my departure time hasn't changed by much, I am now set to get into Orlando 1.5 hours later - longer stopover in YHZ, probably to allow for the plane getting there.

I was told that West Jet published their summer schedule during the night of Sunday to Monday. There was a lot of changes, not just to Orlando.

Glad you caught the change in itinerary. Last year WestJet didn't EVER let us know that they cancelled our flight ... changed from flying on Thursdays to ONLY on Tuesdays. We ended up having to fly out of Pearson instead of Kitchener/Waterloo. I had looked one day to confirm the flight time and price since our kids were thinking of joining us, 3 days later i checked my itinerary and it simply said "cancelled". Make sure you check regularly because they can still change things. AC isn't any better at this either BTW

So frustrating when that happens. You want to get the cheapest flight so you book way in advance and then they pull this. Instead of having a relaxing last morning at Disney, now you'll need to catch the 5:00am DME back to the airport.

No airline is immune to the time/date change thing. I checked my flights yesterday after reading this thread and then I get an email today about a minor change to the flight time. Luckily for us it's only 10 minutes but it happens regularly.

It happens all the time unfortunately. Our direct flight back from MCO at Xmas suddenly changed to one with a layover and I only found out because I checked my WJ app. Fortunately, I was able to switch it to a direct flight the following day. I got an extra day in Florida, and WJ gave me a prepaid Mastercard for $260 for my troubles. I was pretty happy with that.
