Westjet Changes

Just an FYI, that West Jet's recently announced rewards program is NOT tied into a credit card. It is a pure frequent flyer reward program. You can go to their website to check it out. There is a credit card that launched as well, that will allow you to earn points faster, but it is NOT a mandatory thing. The rewards program is 100% separate.

I agree that West Jet isnt always the cheapest, but I find their seat sales great when they have them... I just find it takes stalking their website to catch the great deals.

I check the website every morning, there are often seat sales that pop up out of the blue! By doing this, I have been able to spot some REALLY good deals. Lot's of times, my friends/family who work for WJA dont even know the seat sale has happened, and I am the one to catch them! Pays to check regularly because they do it often! (I dont mind making it a part of my morning routine if it can save us some cash for our trips to the world!!!)

Yup, that's how I got my "out of the blue" flights for last Christmas. Was up late one night, had a peek at 1:30 AM and lo and behold there was the best price ever! I sure snapped up those seats!
