Westjet and Flights

I've been waiting patiently for Westjet to come up with a seat sale. (Can't go to Buffalo for Southwest, sorry just not feasible. DH is not coming and can't drive that far and back to take us there).

Today I was on their website and they have a sale up to May 13. I'm going May 6 - 20.

Do you think its wise to book one way to get that sale, and then wait for a further seat sale for the end of our trip? Has anyone ever done this?

A seat sale on a Canadian carrier!!!??? WOW - I would at least book the one way then if flying from Pearson is the only way for you.
