Has anyone stayed here? Mixed reviews on trip advisor. Shuttle seems not reliant. Driving seems to be a must? Which means paying to park and no park hopping. How much does it cost to park at the parks?
Don't know what you mean by "no park hopping". You only pay to park once per day if that is the concern, no matter how many parking lots you enter. You just save your parking ticket and show it at the next park.
The actual resort is very large, has plenty of amenities and MANY units - not the best in Orlando but not bad. The sales however are beyond obnoxious & should be avoided. But it is close to Disney - you can use 192 or Sherbeth Rd (an extension of Old Lake Wilson Rd which is whee Westgate Town Center is located) for very quick access. It's not a bad place - why are you worried?
Don't worry....its a very nice place. I stayed at Town Center (Bldg 5200) in 2009. It was very nice. They do have a hard sales pitch to purchase a timeshare, so avoid that at all costs. Other than that, they have a good kids activity program and many amenities on the property. They are FAR from being the worst property in Orlando. I have 2 teen boys and they LOVED Town Center. Whenever we had to go off property for something, I had to practically FORCE them to go with us. I had to admit, I was kinda taken with Town Center too.
