Westgate Resorts?

Has anyone stayed at one in the Orlando area... I know there are a few... so can you please tell me what one you stayed in and the pro's/con's... we have a free 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom.. and DBF said we should go to Orlando... so I am going to plan it but wanted to get some reviews... thanks for the help

we have stayed at the "westgate lakes" and thought is was
a nice resort.

Is this a free stay if you listen to their timeshare pitch? If so-- I would run away fast. Westgate is hard nosed, rude, aggressive, and will literally hold you hostage way beyond your "90 minutes".

WELL..................... I can atest to your statement... This is not really a free stay we paid for it... we got suckered into the "pitch" while in Vegas.... but since we live in Fla we wanted to go somewhere close.... so here we come Disney... thanks for the heads up though

westgate are some of the worst.

just kept saying "NO" - and expect to have to tell at least 3 or 4 people.

our stay was NOT free.

We had friends who had stayed there and told us we could just call up and
get a room. They really liked the resort. So I called and got a really good
room rate.

My friend also told me that we could call up Disney's DVC and stay in those
too. I have called to see what the rates are. And was told we could
stay in those without actually buying into DVC .

Westgate lakes and spa on Sand Lake RD is very nice too. You will have a great stay there.
