I was wondering......does mostly everyone on the Western wear tropical clothes on Mexicali night? I would think that Mexican clothes would be more fitting...but I want to wear what mostly everyone else will be wearing. Thanks for your help!

Most people wear any form of tropical dress. A few wear something that they purchased in Mexico.

More than 90 percent wear "Tropical" clothing on the theme night on the Western. There is not much "Mexican" themed clothing available that we saw....except maybe ponchos....plus we knew what we were packing from home. Ponchos in the heat of of the summer was not appealing to us!!! Some wore sombreros that they purchased in Cozumel (which are sold all over at different sizes and prices).

As evidenced by my offspring....

Mexican clothes are easy to come by...Go to E-bay and search for "Mexican dress." I just did it and got over 150 hits. Here are a few pics from our last DCL cruise:

We were on the 7/17 Western and saw a mixture of Mexican and Tropical clothes that night for dinner. Our server the night before told us to wear shorts, sandals and floral shirts. I told him we were eating in Lumiere's. He said it didn't matter. It was considered a casual night. We had a lot of fun. We did see a mother/daughter in matching Mexican dresses.
