Western question

My friend is trying to convince her family to take a cruise. Does anyone know if you can surf fish on the Western?

I can't believe anyone would have to convince their family to go on a cruise. I definitely don't have that problem! I don't know about surf fishing. Why don't you go into shoretrips.com and see what excursions they offer - that might answer your question. If they don't offer this you may be able to email them and ask who does...

I did look into many fishing options on the western.

I did the CC fishing. Worth it even though I only pulled up 6-8 med size strawberry groupers.

We did get into a mess of sharks which were quite exciting, even thought the gear was too small.

There was certainly no surf fishing at CC that I know of.

I saw no place for surf fishing on the western and while I was doing fairly extensive research.

This DOES Not mean it is not there.

I gotta believe there is somewhere in Cozumel to do it, given the lay of the land. Given the length of time in port, it may be a first choice.
