Western or Eastern???

Can anyone tell me which 7 day cruise is better? The western or Eastern.

we enjoyed the two days at sea after departure on the eastern cruise.

We enjoyed the western much better. Didn't care for St. Maarten, plus more ports of call on western. The St John excursion was very nice on the eastern, didn't like the start of the voyage with being on the ship two days back to back.

Ditto on the Eastern. We actually like the at sea time more than in port.

Also, I think St. Maarten is being dropped from the interary....

I picked the Eastern for the fewer ports/extra day at sea. Although the East Coast sure isn't the Caribbean, hanging out at the beach isn't a huge draw for me, I wanted more time to just enjoy the ship.

So, I doubt one is "better" than the other, just personal preference!

I went on the Eastern in January and it was beautiful. Wasnt all that excited about St Maarten. I went to the Rendevous Beach on the French side and just standing at the water line, I was full of seaweed and also, there were nude people everywhere lol. St John was wonderful but I too...enjoyed the days at sea. I am going Western in January and hope it is as joyful as the Eastern.
