Western Cruise/Cancels??

Any insider info out there on # of cancellations on the Western Cruises (not the repos) ? We had originally booked during that first week frenzy the May 28 cruise, but subsequently found out our schedules prohibited vacation for that week. Now we are looking at July and all looks booked for 2 adults 2 children.

Are rooms becoming available as the full payments are due? Does anyone know if Disney will have any last minute cruise specials for those of us who can just pick up and drive over to the port?

We looked at a few of the Carnival and RCL cruises, and I read the trip reports on another board. Has anyone booked one of those cruises who could not do the Magic this summer? How did you choose?

I guess it is getting kind of late to book summer vacation plans, but hey, any help anyone can give a procrastinator greatly appreciated!!

we are currently booked for the 6/4-6/11 west coast cruise and we just found out through our TA that there are cancellations when the final payments are due. thus, i would start checking again with the travel agencies and see if any are available...

There most likely will not be any "last minute specials" though....DCL never discounts for last minute sailings....

You may want to check expedia or similar sites for last minute deals. Good luck
