Western Caribbean Storm of Interest.

Let the nail biting begin.

Worse case - it develops into a tropical storm. Best case - we finally get some beneficial rain for most of the state.

The fun begins on Monday.

This morning the spread of models have shifted mostly northward for the next 2-3 days. Most runs are showing a weak tropical system crossing north Florida around next Tuesday. Some models, like the NOGAPS and European do not track a very coherent system, but really blow it up in a baroclinic (non tropical) drive up the east coast.

The Rest of the Story

Sheesh, that business about it developing as it travels up the east coast, YIKES! The last thing New England needs is more rain.

They just showed that on the news up here in NH. They said we may see the remnants of it . NOT what we need. My town has had 20 inches in the last month, and we could see another 2-3 tonight.
I hope that Florida does get some rain, but that it's not a serious storm for you all (or for us)
