I was just coming here to post this. I'm very sad about his passing. He was a great actor. I loved him in LA Law as well as West Wing.

I had such a crush on him in the LA Law years. His smile was quite endearing.

If you google him, you'll see his long list of acting credentials, alll the way back to playing Cathy's boyfriend on the old Patty Duke show! I loved him on The West Wing and in LA Law. What a shame! It's ironic that his character on West Wing, Leo McGarry, suffered a heart attack last year...

I am so sad!!! He was just so wonderful. I can't imagine how his friends, family, and the cast of the WW must be feeling.

One of my favorite WW quotes from him:

This guy's walking down the street when he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep he can't get out.

A doctor passes by and the guy shouts up, 'Hey you. Can you help me out?' The doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole and moves on.

Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up, 'Father, I'm down in this hole can you help me out?' The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on
