Hi
I'm use to fly with jetblue but this time around we found a nice deal with WJ My questions are
Do they have tv's as in jet blue ??? ( man they sure do the trick to make you forget your at whatever feets up there :happytv:
Also are theyre any snacks that they offer you such as drinks ( water , soda ..) and maybe cookie ...???? if not I'll have to bring some as snacks ( guess it has to do with keeping busy lol....) take away my queasyness ..
Did you like flying with WJ ?? are thay usually on time ??
thanks

They do have the individual t.v.'s for each seat (you have to purchase headphones for $3 a set, or you can bring your own - they say that most are compatible). They offered complimentary juice/soft drinks/coffee/water, as well as cookies and Bits and Bites. There were other snacks available for purchase as well.

The staff is very warm and welcoming, and we had no issues at all with delays.

I fly West Jet whenever I can, and have nothing but praise for them.

Have a great trip!

we LOVED west jet. fantastic service, on time, great friendly people at check in counter, at gate, and on flight. enjoy!

EVERYTIME our family has flown WEST JET we have always had the friendliest service and plus they usually have terrific seatsales.Bonus for families of 5.:cheer2:

The only problem with the westjet IFE system is the fact it is satelite based, and only works in northern USA.

Unless they have fixed it it seems to crap out over California. The last time I flew tham was a four years ago so maybe they have come up with a fix?
At least it is beter than Air canadas Thales system:confused3

After so many bad experiences with Air Canada, my family now only flies West Jet. WJ is wonderful - they never overbook the flight, always put families with kids together (ahem not like Air Canada when they wanted my 3 year old to sit 7 rows back and didn't think it would be a problem...yeah....big problem to me!:scared1: ) and the staff of WJ is very friendly.

With the delays due to storms here many many Nova Scotians were appalled at some of the airlines but West Jet was always mentioned favourably in the papers. I'd honestly pay 30% more if I had to just to fly WestJet and bonus...it's cheaper than Air Canada! It's a win-win to me. :cheer2:

We love WestJet as well! Just a heads up it is a small snack and drink they provide free, a couple of cookies and a small cup of liquids. We always bring snacks with us.

Another vote for WestJet here!

They do give you drinks and cookies/pretzels. In my experience they would serve twice on a 3.5-4 hour flight. Cookies are usually the Peek Freans 2 cookie packs (not the same variety all the time, I have had shortbread to those Life Styles lemon cookies). Last 2 times I flew they happen to have a hockey game on TV, so it was a really nice way to pass the time.

I have flown with Air Canada and WestJet (and a few others that no longer exist!). I have nothing but praises for WestJet at this point - even though some trips were not as smooth as one would like. For example, we flew on Ontario on Dec 23, during the week of winter travel mess with snow in every Canadian airport (or just about). Our plane was diverted, but they did their best in accomodating the customers given the circumstance. We made it to our destination 24 hours later, but it could have been a lot worse.

I don't recall being on any WestJet flights that were delayed by more than 10 minutes except the trip in December (but just about every flight was delayed that day). Oh and their staff members tend to be friendly and funny too.

Flew them in the summer between YYZ & YYC and their "free" system lasted all of 20 minutes but oddly, the pay for view lasted the entire flight. With crying babies throughout the cabin (something no airline can control) WJ did not have a back up plan in place and this was without a doubt, the worst 4 hours of flying I have ever done.
