West Jet One day sale

We stayed in a lovely hotel in Buffalo in March. It was only $149 for the night and included dinner, breakky and parking for 11 days. When we fly from Pearson, we take airport limos, that's $50 each way. So we only spent $49 more than we would have flying Pearson, however, that $49 was more than covered for 4 free dinners and 4 free breakkies! S

which hotel was this? thx.

We flew out of Buffalo for our August trip. Would definitely do the Buffalo thing again. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to fly out on Nov 25. That's the Sunday after U.S. Thanksgiving and I think the fares are really high. The best I can do is SW there and AirTran on the way back on the 30th. Still comes out to US$1100 or something. Then add a night's hotel stay in Buffalo and we're saving only about $300 for the trip. We saved $800 last time, but for $300, I might just fly out of YYZ.

We flew out of Detroit last year for $45.00 with SW but it is $84.00 with Spirit Airlines for the dates you are looking for. You can fly SW out on Nov 24th for $179.80 return.

As I posted earlier we're flying out of Detroit with Spirit. I didn't realize they charged for checked baggage. $10 USD per bag for the first 2 per person.

It is still cheaper than flying out of Pearson (Toronto). We're fortunate to have U.S. airports so close. Some folks in other parts of the country don't have that option.

I never knew that Spirit charged to check baggage. I see you can pre-purchase for checked baggage online for $5.00 for first 2 bags.
