I want to know!!! I need to plan!! You all understand, I'm sure! :goodvibes
We are almost at 60 days before our departure, we have REAS and I want to know when formal night is, semi formal night, when the replacement theme night for pirate night is, when the matinee shows are, all that stuff, so I can make my Palo and Spa ressies at just the right times.
Has anyone heard anything? :confused3
Thanks!!

I know what you mean...we are on the May 28th West Coast Cruise and fully paid, no documents yet and still waiting for all and any details!!!:Pinkbounc And still waiting for passport to come in the mail! :jumping2:

I want to know too, we are may 28th, and I need to plan too. I wish they would tell us soon, and I don't have documents either, but I did get MY passport everyone else has BC, too expensive to get them for everyone, I hope that will work.

i spoke with them today and they don't even know the 14-night one yet

they told me that it would be closer to the end of this month that they will figure it out so obviously very last minute

i'm a big planner too so the suspense is killing me!
:Pinkbounc :badpc: :bounce:

The end of the month! :worried: Are you kidding? I can hardly stand this. I hope we will all be delighted with what they have planned. I can't believe they would NOT plan anything until the last minute. Or worse...not plan much of anything at all. Perish the thought! :scared1: Come on Disney! Give us a clue! PLEASE???? :magnify:

It's killing me too and we're not going until 7/30. I just would feel better if I could figure out when I can make our REAS Palo ressies.

Well, all I can say is they MUST be doing something REALLY special and wanting to keep it mum because, let's face it, this close out...they GOTTA KNOW WHAT THEY'RE GONNA DO!!!!!!! And if they don't, then heck, why are we paying so much for the Mexican Riveria?!?!? ::MinnieMo

I am thinking that since we will be in port in Mazatlan until 7pm that they wouldn't dare book semi, formal, or the surprise theme party that night, right?
We didn't book an excursion, would we be safe to book Palo that night and not miss anything? I don't want to miss the color show at AP either, but if Mazatlan is the 5th night of the cruise, AP won't do the show again, right? (Did I hear they only do it the first 3 nights for all rotations to see then not again?)
As for spa ressies....any morning 10ish should work except that that is likely the most popular time...(thinking out loud here...) ;)
Doesn't the repo cruise leave 5/14? That is less than 5 weeks...DCL better get their tushies moving! :Pinkbounc :bounce:
And, we all will be anxiously waiting for that first DIS post telling us all the scoop! :listen:
Thanks friends!

If you are on the first cruise 5/28, don't plan on anything definite until you actually get on the ship and have that hot Navigator in your little hands.

We were told for the 10 day Christmas Cruise, the nights, what they were, and when they were, and then we got on the ship and the first night got our Navigator, they had the whole 10 day schedule and they had CHANGED IT!!

The good news is............if you are on any cruise after the 5/28, you'll be able to find out from those that are the "guinea pigs".

For us, we are on the 14 day Kingdom to Kingdom May 14th, and we are just bringing our stuff for all the theme nights and will just put on the appropriate attire when the time comes!

No one has received their cruise docs yet for 5/14. I heard 5/5 is receiving theirs. I would think within the next 7-10 days we will start seeing ours!

Since we've never done DCL before and are on the 5/28...can you explain the "guinnea pig" thing? I would hate to think I paid all this money for a cruise that is not even planned out by DCL and could be disorganized.

THANKS
C

I am on that same cruise, and I don't want to be a guinnea pig either. I sure hope they tell us soon

We are on the Aug repo cruise. I can't wait to find out the info. What to pack, and plan.

My opinion is that the pirate/tropical night will be on Wednesday.....because that is when the eastern and western usually have it. On the western we were in Port til 10 pm and still had Pirate night. So really time in port doesn't guarantee a casual night.

Got my TA to call Disney and ask about new shows ans different meals. I want to know. Can't wait. Need more info. He was told there will be 2 new shows and an adult show, 2 formal, 2 semi formal nights. DCL told him we would get info about 1 month out.

Don't worry, you won't be "total guinnea pigs". DCL has been sailing since 1998 - and they know what they are doing. But you are on the FIRST west coast cruise, and we all think that they might have some new stuff up their sleaves!!! And as what happens with "new things" it may not be "perfect" and there might be some hiccups along the way. But remember, DCL / Disney usually knows what it is doing (with the exception of DCA!!)
