West Coast Cruise formal/semi-formal ?

I'm trying to figure out which dining rotation to request and which night to go to Palo. We have the REAS booked, so I know I can make a request. I don't want to miss formal or semi-formal night in the dining room--DD8 is too excited about dressing up and it'll be a big family event. I would like to be in Lumiere's on formal night. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I dont think any of that info has been officially announced yet....making it very difficult for us planners, LOL! There was some talk here a while back where people had some ideas what it would be. If you do a search you may be able to come across it and get some ideas, but again, that wasnt the offical word from DCL.
Im considering myself lucky that Im sailing the last CA cruise before the repo. I hope to get all the info by then. Id hate to be one of the first to go.

Hey mommykeg!!! I'm also trying to figure out when formal/semiformal night is going to be. My guesses are Sunday (formal night) and Thursday (semi-formal night). Sunday because it's a day at sea, and it's the night they do it on the Eastern. They wouldn't do two in a row, so Monday is out. I'm going with Thursday for semi-formal night because we leave Puerta Vallerta and Mazatlan at 7PM, after early dining has begun. They wouldn't do Friday night because everyone has to have their luggage outside that evening, so Thursday is the only night left. According to DCL, we're leaving Cabo at 3:30, giving everyone plenty of time to get all gussyed up that evening. Well, those are my thoughts, what does everyone else think!!!

Sounds logical to me! I'll start planning with that theory and make changes later as necessary when the official DCL info comes out. Thanks!
