Wow -- after reading the MNSSHP reports from folks who were disappointed (and I DO believe that everyone has the unquestionable right to his or her opinion, so I do respect those folks), it is delightful to see pictures and hear reports from people who had a blast. We went to MNSSHP in 2004 and hope to return for it again in 2007 (with the two middle years being Christmas trips and MVMCP!) -- this thread REALLY made me want to get back for the party and to have fun no matter WHAT! Thanks for posting!

For those who wore costumes, how was the heat in them? I read somewhere it was steamy that night. I'm going to MNSSHP this Friday and am wondering if I should wear the costume or not

I heard them say 5x7s at the Minnie location, and the back of the special photo pass card clearly states - save 50% on 5x7 prints. It is also printed in the map that it is 5x7s.

(I did call the resort and got it cleared up)- they are mailing my things- giving the people their items from the store- they asked me for all the skew#s and I get to keep their stuff that I have here!

I hope you got some good stuff! We didn't get our (well DDs) pic taken near HM - she was not in a good mood..... and didn't want to wait in the line. I'm lucky I got Minnie & the coach (which the line was really not bad when we were there) - I hope to get the photo when we go back on the 12th.

I just thought I would note that it was "documented" that it was 5x7s - so other folks would have the "411" - There were so many folks in line to get their photos after the second parade - I don't know if they had extra options for borders etc that were not online! I was happy with two 5x7s for $16!

I actually like this option better than the free photo - more choices of background and DD always HATED the waiting in line for the free one - it was like torture to her for some reason if if the line wasn't long!!!

I was decked out in a dress made of three layers of wool, a dreadlock wig, cap under that, and layers of stage makeup.

I can honestly say I was NEVER miserable. It was such a nice night!! I didnt sweat anymore then I do on a normal day running around the parks.

There was a nice breeze. Although there was a "cold front" that weekend. I would say wear a costume. That was the best part of the night for us!

We saw you too!! Our costumes were boring we just all had on camoflouge pants and black tops! We saw you in Adventureland near the Dole Whips! Wish I had known you were a DISer!

Oh, now I am so torn, dress up as Ursula like I had planned and worry tht the dress will drag or just wear the Halloween T-shirt with a crazy hat!

Yes that was us (Mario and Luigi). We were staying at POP by the jukebox. We had just walked by the pool area where evryone was like, "Why are Mario and Luigi here?"

We saw you and said, "thank God, someone else is dressed up , too"

Yeah I have to agree... we definately got the strangest looks walking from our room at Pop to the bus... after we got to MK and saw everyone else dressed up it was all good!!

We were attacked at All Star Music, we couldnt get out of the hotel, because everyone we walked by wanted full details on the costume, and wanted to take pictures with us... it was nuts!!

And everyone seemed intriguied by my costume...until I smiled and showed my awful teeth. Then they cringed a little. lol.

I was so happy to hear small children around all night saying 'look! its the gypsy lady from pirates!'

I was really concerned people wouldnt get who i was...

Great to meet you josh!! You're the 2nd Diser ive met.
