I'm soo excited!!

As some of you may know, me, DH & DS are here in Orlando and are due to return back home on Sunday.
Anyway, I celebrated my BD back on the second day we arrived and DH & DS had already given me my gifts back home and ordered me some roses here, which was lovely.
So Wednesday night came and we went for tea in the Rainforest cafe DTD when DH said he had something to tell me.
He told me we are not leaving on Sunday as planned but catching a Disney Cruise Ship for a mini 4 night cruise around the Bahamas! WooHoo :woohoo:
It was like an extra suprise for my BD.
He said he originally planned to wait till the last minute to tell me when I thought we were packed to go home but as I'm a slightly nervous flyer, thought it a bit mean to make me gear myself up for home but also as he wanted me to do a big wash & ironing session yesterday

I'm such a lucky gal hey? :goodvibes

I hate surprises, but I think I could go along with something like this! I'm a nervous flyer, too, so telling you now was totally the right way to go in my book.

Enjoy your cruise Louise.
I hate surprises

Me too. Great if people enjoy doing things this way but its like telling kids last minute, not something I really agree with, I think having them part of all the planning stages means far more to the family than a last minute surprise and a few minutes of excitement.
Then again maybe I am just a miserable old so and so:lmao:

Have an amazing cruise!!

Enjoy your cruise Louise.

We wanted to surprise our kids - but in the end DH and I knew just how much they like the planning and choosing restaurants etc.. I have already posted DDs video she made I could not imagine now denying her this excitement.

.... although not telling her would have saved my ink cartridges as she decided to print out EVERY disney menu in colour for her planning folder!!!:rotfl2:

I can understand people doing it! Booking a holiday a year in advance is a lot of "how many more sleeps till Disney?"

I've had it at least three times a day since Christmas, I'm not kidding! oh, and I have 4 kids... :rotfl:

Wayne, I don't think your a miserable so and so:laughing:surprises are great, for the right people::yes::
We surprised DD and DS the day we were leaving, because the time before we had 300 days of "How many sleeps, how many sleeps?":hyper: By the time we got to Disney we were all EXHAUSTED, but the last time they arrived fresh and very very happy. They say it was the best day of their lives:thumbsup2
