I know this can vary during the year but, let's say in June, how often does a bus destined for a park (any park) come to pick up guests at the resorts? Specifically the Art of Animation resort.

When waiting for a bus to a specific park, let's say MK, during a Board Walk stay, we rarely wait 20 mins, usually 10 or so but sometimes one will be pulling up as we enter the wait area. As for having a bus to ANY park there, single digit minutes if there's not one actually there when we get to the stop.

Same here we have waited a few minutes to over 30. Usually our waits have been in the 10 to 20 minute time frame. Buses do seem to run more often during openning and closing times.

Usually the buses start at least 1 hour prior to park open

Buses start running, every morning, from resorts to the parks, by 6:30. They don't run as frequently as the 'regular' buses do.....up to about an hour prior to opening. If you just miss one, it could be almost 30 mins before another comes, or, it could be just 10. No way to be sure.
As far as the regular buses go, they are supposed to arrive every 20 mins. If you get to the bus stop just as your desired bus is leaving, it could be 20 or so mins before another one comes along. But it could be less. There are overheard arrival boards that will give you the anticipated arrival times of the buses. But, they can, and do, change, depending on traffic.

Later this month we are staying at the Beach Club and need to arrive at the MK by 8:15am to check in for the 8:30am KTTK tour.
What time would you suggest we get to the resort bus stop? 7:00am?

We might take an Uber but I'm still trying to figure out logistics (i.e. can we be dropped off at the Contemporary w/o a reservation and walk to MK).

Yes, you could take uber...it can drop you at the CR and then you can walk over...takes about 10 mins. If you do that, I would have uber called by 7:45..that gives you plenty of time to get to the CR, and walk over to MK.
If you go the bus route, I would be out at the MK stop by 7:15ish.

Buses can also fill up before all waiting passengers make it on board. Usually another bus will be summoned when this occurs but it is still another guessing game on the time.
