Are we the only ones suffering in the heat - isn't it hot - how do we survive Florida each year!!! We would so love an ice cold drink - BUT THE FRIDGE/FREEZER IS BROKEN!!!!! and we are not happy bunnies we are dreaming or an ice cream or a nice cold larger shandy - we will just have to dream on!! come on J.Lewis deliver our new fridge freezer - and quickly!!

It's hot where we live, but then again, it always is.
But today the humidity just went through the roof, so I keep telling the family that we're in training for WDW next month

We've been to Warwick races today and it has been in the 30's C, the problem is we don't have nice air conditioned places to escape to.

We have a thermometer on our deck - it's was 90 degF in the shade and when I put the thermomter in the sun it went up to 103 degF !

We've managed to hit around 70 degrees today, but not a lot of sun. We had torrential rain this morning, and it's been rather cloudy most of the day. It's been a very humid - reminded of being back in Florida!!

Urgh its disgusting,spent 20mins moaning and soaking in a cool bath.
My poor fingers/toes and ankles are all swollen,and I am feeling pretty fed up, hoping the weather cools before babe appears, wishful thinking.

I am now sat in front of the fan and it feels lovely...

Poor you, Beth. I was only thinking of you on Satruday when I was wilting.

We did enjoy the weather this weekend - DD Katie (12) asked if it was going to be this hot when we go to Florida in 7 weeks, I said it would be even hotter; hotter than we've ever known over there

But it was perfect weather over here and I spent a great day with DD's junior sailers - couldn't sail much because of the Round the Island Race (Isle of Wight) - not that there was any wind for the sails! Saw Ellen Macarthurs huge beast of a boat go pasty us.

And yesterday - after visting Homebase to buy a portable air conditioning unit for our bedroom - we spent the afternoon down our beachhut. A bit pink now, and the sea was FREEZING COLD . . . . but very refreshing with the heat

Make the most of it, it won't last. And it's all good training for us Florida visitors

we have had lovely weather - I woke up yesterday morning to "another Florida day". It was a bit much in the afternoon though so had to retreat to the coolness of our lounge.

Only thing for me is the hot weather brings out my cold sores - no idea why.
