We're leaving tomorrow!! I don't know why I'm so nervous!

My stomach is turning upside down. I don't know why. I guess I am anxious to head back to Disney. I'm worried about the crowds and the heat. I guess I am also worried about DME (hopefully it will go smooth). I hope our stay at POP will be wonderful just like the first and second time. This is a budget trip. So no deluxe or moderate for us.

I guess I am worried that I may be forgetting something and I hate to buy it at Disney when I know I have it at home. I am in the middle of packing right now. I gotta get my papers together...the reservation numbers! I printed our boarding pass already. My kids are not too excited. Maybe because they have been there too many times! But I am sure once we're there, they will be just as excited as I am, if not then more!

Getting my batteries charge for my camcorder. Got the digital cam ready. Got enough batteries. I got the Mickey Pal ready (he just got his new batteries). What else....

I'm the same way. I leave in just about 4 days, and my stomach is starting to turn.

Probably b/c it's the first time I'll be "in charge" down there, with no parents with us. It'll be fun though. I just gotta get there and then I'll be fine!

Although I must admit, i'm little nervous about flying on Independance Day.

Two weeks of heaven.

This vacation was the best one since the Beach Club in 92'
I can't help you with the butterflies since I had them too - and still have them since I have been back. Guess What else? I am going to be buying into the DVC. See if you have one of those invitations on your desk when you get to the Poly. They gave us $100 in GC's and we are buying!!! I am so addicted to Disney it is not funny. Even my husband, who thinks I am insane, thinks it is a good value.

Hi Purrrrfecta! Sounds like you really had a great time on your trip! CONGRATULATIONS on buying DVC!! That is great! I am doing a short budget trip. I am staying at POP for 4 nights. My engrande trip is in August. I am doing Poly and POFQ for 7 nights.

I do the same thing before I leave everytime! Something feels strange about this upcoming trip though, its like I haven't done enough planning. I usually do much more planning than this year, but with so much work a school this year, I've been a we bit preoccupied. It's kind of uncomfortable.

Fatasia, your not alone!

I think its mostly girls who gets nervous prior to a flight/wdw vacation. But i get nervous too, even though im a guy.

I always travel alone, because im the only disney holic in my family. The thing that always gets to me, is at the day im leaving for my trip to USA/wdw, that im on my own, noone to talk to about anything, just me and my thoughts.

Ill bet when i arive at Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen (Denmark), they will take me aside and ask me to take off my clothe so they can check it, and make me open my suitcase, so that they can see what im bringing on my flight to USA.

It has actualy happend to me last time i was in USA, back in 1999.

The second thing that makes me nervous is when im ariving in Orlando Airport (MCO). The climate, everything is way larger, different than im used to in Denmark.

This will be my 7th visit to USA, 5th time in WDW, traveling alone.

One thing that i enjoy about traveling alone is, that i get a huge kick out of being on my own, having to deal with everything all by myself.

Have a great trip! I just got back to Michigan yesterday after a 4 day weekend trip down there. It was hot, but the rains held off most of the weekend. I am heading back down in August, too, before school starts!

Thanks guys! And good to know there's folks out there that gets nervous like me. I don't think I planned enough. I was slacking off. I just hope that my intinerary is not screwy.

Oh... that's kind of sad. I went to Cali about 2 years ago, well.. I couldn't get myself to go to DL not without my children. So I didn't. But I guess you are used to going by yourself. But to sit alone in the restaurant.. I would feel so lonely. Anyways...No one to boss you. You can come and go as you please. No one to annoy you. You keep enjoying yourself.

I'll be there the day after you. We leave tomorrow for the airport hotel, then take off Friday am. Should be in Disney by noon. I am nervous/excited. My stomach is doing flip flops. Me too!! Why do you think I am up at 7?-well actually that was the baby. I am still running around buying things for the trip- like snacks for the trip, new sneakers for ds in case his sandals start bugging him, a stroller fan ...ect ect....Yes I should have done all this 6 months ago but it adds to the frenzy doing it now! I feel the same way the day or two before leaving. I can barely sleep the night before. It's so worth it once I arrive though!
