We're going to WDW

Hello,

11 of us are making the trip. This is my first big trip with my kids as a single parent. I lost my wife to cancer 2 years ago. So its the 3 of us. My son is 9, second trip for him and my daughter is 4. My parents are going. My in-laws are going. And my sister-in-law with her family are going.

We've got our dates 3/24/07 - 3/31/07.

We've got our room reservations. We're staying at Shades of Green. My parents are retired military.

We've got our plane reservations.

Now my first question of many to come is what company is best to use for transportation from the airport to WDW? Our last trip in 2002 we use "Your Ride".

Yippee for you! and your family! I can't imagine living through your loss, so I personally wish you the MOST MAGICAL trip ever!!!

Disney Express (call to set up 407-W-DISNEY) will take you all form the airport to your hotel at no charge.

Just want to say "have a magical and wonderful time"!!! Your kids are at such a great age to go. Plus to have not 1 set, but both sets of grandparents there will be awesome for them and you!!!!

My family and I stayed at Shades of Green last year and it was great. I do not think that guests of Shades are eligible to use Disney Express, but it is worth asking.

Also, I was thinking about the best way for you to purchase tickets. Did you already do that? You can go to the Shades of Green website and they have the prices for the different tickets. You can compare it to local Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWRs) located on various military installations and to the Disney Store, for example. I see that you are in Hagerstown,MD. NNMC in Bethesda, and Ft. Meade, MD have a MWR. I am not sure about Ft. Dietrich. Have fun and happy planning!

Thank you for the replies. Last time we got our tickets through Shades of Green. We actually got to stay at the Contempory while Shades of Green was being renovated.

Does the FL. Tours people let you stop at a store to get bottle water and other snacks?

we used Tiffany towncar. We loved them. We used a 10 passenger van and a towncar, and it was perfect. They do a grocery stop on the way, and have a $5 off coupon on their website.

I haven't used them myself (we rent a car), but I've heard a lot of great reviews of Sunray Transportation. There's a current thread on the Transportation Board about them:
