My DH got us tickets for my birthday tomorrow. I've heard mixed reviews on this show. I hear that it's not up to par with Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. But I hope that I'm entertained at least. I'm just looking forward to a night out without the kids too! ;)

I hope you enjoy it... I still want those hours of my life back!

WOW Was it really that bad???? My kids are dying to see it but it is so expensive.
Please mcr5298 give us a review tomorrow.

Ouch! I've heard that it is very, um, interesting. I would love to see them make a musical out of Hunchback. I'm not sure if I ever saw that they were looking into that or not. I LOVE the music from that movie! :)

I will give me honest review tomorrow night!

I saw it in April. I really enjoyed it. Yes, it isn't as good as Beauty & the Beast (I haven't seen Lion King), but then, neither was the movie.

Well it wasn't as bad as all the critics said. Sure, it wasn't a Tony winning show, but it was very entertaining. Most of the cast spent the two hours swinging from ropes and dressed as gorillas. It was pretty cool! ;)

The cast all had very good singing voices. I thought that the lead, Josh Strickland, was very good. Apparently he was a season 2 top 24 finalist of American Idol. I didn't watch the show back then. But he was much better than some of the finalists of this season of American Idol! There were some new songs that were okay, and some that I really liked. I have to admit that I shed a tear a few times.

It was an enjoyable family show. On a scale of a 1 to 10, I give it an 8! :)

We saw Tarzan on Sunday afternoon. Contrary to the many negative reviews, we found the Disney production of Tarzan on Broadway great.

There are weak points to the story line, but Disney fans should find the musical well worth the money!!! The sets were incredible ... breathtaking at times. The singing, music and orchestrations were excellent. The audience was very receptive, giving standing ovations at the curtain call. The performers were energetic and excited. We will go to see it again. The audience did not want to leave.

We saw Beauty and the Beast and Lion King. This show is entertaining as well.
