Actually, we're going to London to visit a buddy of mine. We will be there 19-27 Jan. 04. We are planning on going to Paris, probably for 3 days. Of course, we'll be going to DLRP for at least 1 if not 2 of those days.

Is there any advice you can share on our itinerary? We want to spend at least 1 of the days in the city itself. Here's a list of what I want to do, please offer any suggestions on bringing it to fruition...
-Take the Eurostar to Paris - Do we stay in Paris, or closer to Disneyland, or is it indifferent?
Is one day really enough to see the Eiffel Tower (at day and at night), Arc de Triumph, Louvre, plus other "touristy" things?

I can't really think of anything else right now, but please feel free to offer up any suggestions you may have.

Thanks,
Jared

Congrats on your upcoming trip! I'm also planning a trip to DLRP in January 04 (we'll be in Paris from 1/4-1/12/04). We'll only be there for a day, but I'm excited about spending any time at the park.

I can't comment on your itinerary, but we decided to stay in Paris rather than try to find a hotel by the DLRP. From what I understand, DLRP is only a 30-40 minute train ride from central Paris. Even though I haven't been to Paris yet, I would think that one day wouldn't be enough. The lines for the museums and monuments will be shorter but I think you'll be rushed and won't be able to get a true sense of anything in that timeframe.

Whatever you decide to do, enjoy! DU

We (2 adults) did everything we wanted to see in one day and that was by taking the train from DLP into Paris and basically doing a walking tour. We saw but didn't go inside the Louvre as we weren't really interested. But we saw the Tuileries, Champs Elysees, Sacre Couer, Arc de Triomphe, went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, La Sorbonne, Place de la Concorde. I asked for a map of the city at the hotel desk and they provided me with one which included the train and bus routes. We picked a stop off of the train that provided a sort of natural walking line that allowed us to tour the city without backtracking. Only "major" thing we didn't get to see was Versailles.
It really depends on what you personally want to see. If you want to go inside the Louvre I'd definitely allow more than one day.
