We're going in Feb. how late do resort pools stay open?

Hello,
We're going Jan 30 - Feb 8 and staying at PORFQ. Since the parks close early and we have two small boys (9 & 6) who love to swim, we figured on swimming in the evenings. How late do the resort pools stay open?

I think AS are open til midnight...but there are no lifeguards after a certain time

I think the mail pool is open until 10 but the quiet pools are open later. They do not have life guards.

DH thought he heard the CM tell us at both AKL and GF that the pool was open 24 hours. I know only one pool stayed open at the GF, but I did see people swimming at the AKL at 10.30pm at night.

AKL is open 24 hrs. no lifeguards after 10PM. We did ASport and I believe until midnight. Lifeguards are present during a certain time.

Aren't the night time temps in Feb going to be in the 60's or 50's?

We are going from Feb 1st through the 6th and I did not think that it was going to get warm enought to swim during the day. All of the books say avg. temps are a high of 72 and a low in the mid 50s.

For people who have gone in Feb before is it warm enough to swim.

Pools are heated. My kids were in the pool in Dec. of 2000-01 and it was 23 degrees and they did not come out of the water. We froze, but they enjoyed it.

We were there in June at P.O.R And the quite pool was open 24 hours. Dh & I enjoyed it while our 16 year old watch the kids while they were sleeping at 1:00am.
