a total of $950! OK - so only $540 was a result of the new discount code. Oh - and that includes an extra day, too.
Here's the story:
We had planned our trip to Orlando for 9 days/8 nights in October. We were to arrive in O-town on Saturday after about a 7 hour drive; spend Sat - Monday offsite and do Sea World, DTD, Boardwalk, etc; check-in at WL on Tuesday morning and stay through Sunday morning. I had already priced it out with a woods-view room, with PH tickets and the dining plan.
I waited patiently - then not-so-patiently- for some kind of Fall promo, especially after seeing the free dining go up for late summer. I figured that if they offered SOME incentive (besides the obvious, of course
), we'd see about checking in on Monday instead. Well, my patience was rewarded!
When I read about the discounts that people were getting, I went ahead and added the extra day. Then, as a good-will gesture to my husband's wallet, I conceded the woods-view and bumped down to standard. After all was said and done - down-grading my view and knocking off the discount, my trip cost went down a cool grand! Well, almost - what'd I say? $950? BINGO! Now I'm doing the HAPPY DANCE!!!
See ya in October, Mouse!
