We're Back!

Hi everyone!

Well, we got home last night and I'm already missing FW!

We had a really good time this year. My sister, her DH and DD joined us for this trip as well as my best friend and her family. There were 11 of us all together and after the first day we decided it was easier to split up and meet later in the day at the campground. It was just too confusing traveling in a group that large!

We stayed in the 200 loop. We really wanted to stay in the 100, but we were told that the "snowbirds" had basically taken over the loop until March. I have mixed feelings about that, but my little voice won't make much of a difference. Our loop was nice and there were lots of kids around to play with our kids.

We found the parks to be very crowded, but we used FP and got around just fine. The campground was very crowded as well. I think the FTP was the reason.

Anyway, I have to continue with the laundry and dream of being at FW again. I'm willing to answer any questions.

We're glad you had a good time with friends and family that 's what makes it special and a special place.
Our friends are leaving for WDW this week, when you say it was a crowded, was it overly crowed or just busy? Did you drive and if you did how were the roads? And lastly what is FT and FTP

In my opinion, the parks were overly crowded for the time of year. The campground was full. There weren't any available sites in our loop or any of the other Preferred loops for the week (we didn't drive thru any of the full hook-ups or tent sites).

FP is fastpass - we used it for some of the rides.

FTP is the FairyTale Package. It's Disney's latest promotion.

What I REALLY hate, is how short it seems between someone here saying "we're off" and "we're back" LOL

After someone else's post about West Nile virus, I'll be asking everyone that comes back before our trip . . . how were the skeeters?

We stayed in loop 200 last Dec as well (the 100 loop seems to have people there for the "long haul"!! One even had a mailbox!! ). We really liked that loop...very quiet and close enough to the marina that you didn't need to take an internal bus to get to MK!!
