With very achey legs and tired feet. The park is truly beautiful at Christmas, lots of highs and one or two lows (nothing that would put me off going again). ;)
I will start a trippie soon, trying to get the laundry done today.
Jill x

PS To everyone I promised postcards too, they're on their way, I decided it would be better to send one/family knowing what the postal service is like coming up to Christmas, I'd hate for one child to receive a card and a brother or sister's not arrive at the same time. Hope that's OK. :)

Welcome home, glad you had a lovely trip :). Looking forward to your trippie and pictures!

Welcome back. Are there any last minute tips that you can give me? We are leaving tomorrow for Paris and will be at the resort from Thursday to Sunday.

Looking forward to the trip report Jill :goodvibes .

Marcus do as much as you can Thursday and Friday, Saturday was horrible in the park, I have never seen it so busy all the rides were an hour or more wait, with all the FP's gone by early afternoon. Sunday wasn't quite so bad, but anticipating the crowds we did a bit more forward planning, you might want to prebook your restaurants for the weekend. We just took a chance on Cafe Mickey on Saturday and were seated straight away, this was around 4.30pm, by the time we left around 6.00 it was full, early Sunday morning I went straight to City Hall to book the brunch at the Steakhouse but it was full, we did manage to get a booking at the Lucky Nugget instead, but didn't have a choice of times and it was utter chaos when we arrived with several families waiting.
Other than that, you know the drill - just have fun. :)

Welcome back Jill, I look forward to your report. You saying about the rides being longer then 60 mins on the Saturday, we witnessed this in June at the weekend too.

Come on then Jill, you've been back 24 hours now and no report yet:scared1:

Glad you enjoyed your trip and look forward to reading about it and seeing your photos.

Hi Jill

Just wanted to say a big thank you:hug: ~ my sister got your postcard this morning~ shes sooo pleased ~thinks its brill how you made it sound like mickey and look like his writing and that is was personal to the kids,it made her cry lol :rotfl: shes really excited now!! and my niece says she loves it hehe she showed me it on msn ~ its lovely thank you soooo much!At first my sister thought disney sent them out as standard but couldn't work out why she's not had one before lol Glad you had a good time ~ i look forward to the rest of your trippie and to seeing all the lovely xmasy pictures.:goodvibes

Wow I can't believe it arrived so quickly, I only sent the one between the 3 of them because last time, there was such a big time difference between people recieiving them back in the UK, I thought it would be awful if one or two received postcards and then the third got left out.

I'm so glad they liked it, I know how excited my niece got over hers and she even remembered to say thankyou to Minnie for it too !

Yeah i was shocked how quickly it came too

One between the three of them was fine~ all i wanted really, i didnt think the boys would be to bothered about it~ but they thought it was great even the eldest (12) liked it. I didnt really think he'd believe it but its made them all very excited now. Their gunna thank Mickey for it when they see him hehe

Thanks again- you've def got the mickey writing and wording down to a T lol

Hey Jill,

we got back yesterday and found it was busy compared to last year. Actually, we quite liked it busy as the parade routes were properly lined and things. The general queuing times were still quite short except crush which was about 50min by 10.30am on tues. I was quite surprised by crush- was a bit scarier than i imagined when riding the EAC! Hope you had a lovely time :)

Hi smileyk8, nice to have you back :)
Sunday was more manageable than Saturday for us and yes we did enjoy it, but I was constantly amazed at the rudeness and complete lack of disregard for others that some were showing, I know it's been mentioned several times on this forum by other DISers but it was something we've never come across before, obviously a perk of going offseason.
I wouldn't even contemplate another pre-Christmas weekend.
I have to make a start on Sunday's trippie, I think that one will sound more positive. :)
