We're back-VWL report

He just registered for the Florida Half Ironman that is at WDW in May so he'll get a chance to try again.

We really did enjoy ourselves and were more disappointed than angry.

He said if we go back he wants to stay in the same villa because he really liked how peaceful it was.

My DS and DD said they want to stay WL Concierge.

If any of you are going to be at VWL in May, let me know. WDW is having the Florida Half Ironman and it will be starting at FW. They actually recommend staying at WL, VWL or FW on their website. It should be a really interesting weekend with all of the athletes staying there and then doing the swim, bike and run in the area. My DH is really excited about it.

He'll actually get to SWIM in Bay Lake  It didn't look too yummy when we were there a few weeks ago.

Guads6 !!! YES, YES YES!!!!! I could not have said it better. At first, I flet funny about a dirty room (at OKW), but then I thought HEY...Just because I am a DVC member...don't blow me off (the response I received at OKW)

I've been a member since '96 and have stayed more than two dozen times at DVC (everyone one but HHI). I've never had an unclean room. While I'm sure it happens that housekeeping misses things and I do believe things should be reported, these are not the norm, newer members should note.

Floridafam was very smart not to let the room condition ruin their vacation. I would, however, second the notion of an earlier poster to write DVC managment about the condition of their room, because things don't get handled unless the top dogs know about it. With letters, they can also track trends.

We largely stay at OKW and are greeted with Welcome Homes most every time we stay there. We DO feel special whenever we stay at DVC, especially when the final bill comes and the only charge is 35 cents for a phone call.
