Hi All
We're just back today from our third trip to DLP and we had an AMAZING time. Third trip for us (me, H and 2 sons) and first for my BIL. Here's our highs and lows:
HIGHS:
Blue Lagoon - Was out first time here and we loved the food and theming.
Queues - I think we were lucky with short waits, longest wait was 30 mins for BTM.
Cast Members - All polite as always. I especially love the CM's on Tower of Terror. They really seem to get into the theming.
Weather - it was beautiful.
Village - we've not been for a few years, but this year there seemed to be a few more places to see in the Village. We also liked the Tavern by King Ludwig's Castle and the happy hour was especially popular with my H and BIL.
LOWS - there aren't many:
Cafe Mickey - we had a character meal here (as we have done in previous years) and it was so, so disappointing. Food wasn't great, extremely slow service and not many characters.
Park Security - 2 days out of 4 the X-Ray machine between the village and HNY wasn't working, meaning bags had to be manually checked and the queues were huge.
Overall it was an absolutely fantastic holiday. As my kids are older this time we really rode more of the bigger rides and thoroughly enjoyed it. All the CM's we encountered were polite and apart from one bloke on the Toy Story Parachute ride (who wasn't getting past me
) we didn't see any queue jumping.
I'm so sad to leave the magic
