We just got back from a week at the world and thought we'd share our dining experiences:

First night-Hoop Dee Doo-New show was okay..will take some getting used to. The chicken was as good as always. The ribs should have been cooked a couple of hours longer..they were tasty....but tough. The corn bread was excellent. My sister said the corn tasted like it was frozen from a bad. Baked beans were tasty and reminded me of what you'd get on a trail ride. Desert was the typical strawberry shortcake and although I didn't eat any the rest of the party said it was good.

Second day-breakfast in the villa-we had ADR's for Prime time but changed plans at the last minute and ended up mat the AK. We lunched at FLame tree and had turkey legs and pulled pork sandwiches...good over all.

Third day was at Epcot and we did the sidewinder at China with one having the beef noodle bowl, one had the orange chicked two had the shrimp fried rice...all were very good! We like this as an alternate to a sit down meal.

Fourth day we did studios and gave the Studio Catering company a try. The hot pressed sandwiches were great! Two of us had the turkey club, one had buffalo chicken and one had the chicken cesar wrap....yummy!!

Last day-we did Nine dragons. It was very good. We had four different entrees at the table with the sesame chicken, pepper beef, kung poa chicken and a fried rice. There was plenty of food to fill our bellies and it was very well prepared. We had the shrimp toast and the egg rolls as apps which the egg rolls were a bit greasy but very tasty.

Later in the evening we had sandwiches at the Earl of Sandwich and we know now that this will be a regular stop for us. Affordable and Excellent!

Before catching ME to the airport we did lunch at Goods to Go at OKW and the burgers were very good. the 'fruit salad' was marginal more like diced up rejects from the leftover fruits.

Normally we do at least one table service a day but this time we had a newbie with us and we were never in the right place at the right time to keep our ressies. We did cancel those we didn't use.

As to prices....compared to what other places here at home charge it was actually a pretty good value. The plane charges 6.00 for a beer and we drank a few at Disney for less that that and they were 16 oz!

All our best!

thanks for your reviews..

I too agree, that when we go out to eat at home ...the prices are comparable to what we would pay at Disney....We also think that the amounts we get are sizable...
Thanks again for your review

Thanks for sharing. I had no idea that the Hoop Dee Doo had changed the show. Where have I been?:goodvibes
