We arrived back at LGW this morning after an absolutely amazing holiday. It was the best holiday we have ever had and, like most people, WE WANT TO GO BACK!

Thanks to everyone here on the DIS who helped with my endless questions and last minute panics (yes, hubby did get thru Immigration without any problems).

Our Townhome at Windsor Hills was perfect, we are so pleased we stayed off site.

Things we would do differently next time:

1. Book flights and car hire separately - do our homework on prices
2. Go for longer than 10 nights
3.Book PE both ways (or UC if we can ever afford it)

Things I am glad we did:

1. Plan, plan plan
2. Get up early to tour the parks and beat the lines
3. Stay off site
4. Book ADR's as well as the Fantasmic package
5. Valet parking at the airport - made for a quick arrival and getaway
6. Kennedy was an amazing day out
7. The shopping - wow! We came back with an extra suitcase just full of new shoes!

I could go on for ages about how cool the whole thing was but I guess all of you already know that. We want to look into buying our own holiday home out there so if any of you know which direction to point me in I'd be most grateful.

Thanks

PP

welcome back:goodvibes

Glad you had a great holiday - we have stayed at WH & are returning at Christmas.

I have seen a few people ask about buying a villa on the Orlando forum. There are quite a few owners on there who will pm you with advice. Also one DISer owns a TH at WH so if you are thinking of that resort he should be able to help :)

Welcome back and sound like you have had a magical time , :yay:
Whens the planning starting for the next trip :rotfl:

Welcome back:goodvibes , sounds like you had a great time:thumbsup2 , how busy were the parks?

Welcome home, PP. So pleased you enjoyed it as much as you obviously did - you clearly have the right attitude!

MK was heaving by 11am. Longest wait we had for any ride was 45 mins at Epcot for Test Track. Most rides were less than 10 min wait or walk on. MGM was the least busy. That's only coz we went to the parks early and avoided the crowds.
