We're back, highs and lows

Had a great time even tho the weather was scorchio

Highs

Dinner at cafe mickey - food was excellent, character interaction worth a millions time more, 10 characters in all

Inventions - amazing as always

Small parade in the studios - got to meet loads of characters again

Photopass - fab idea and saved money

Sequioa Lodge - had a refurb room in main lodge, also as mentioned it was birthday, had vip breakfast passes, personal messages and choc coins waiting in rooms

Lows

Crowds - very crowded, had a dance convention and one for the International Bacclaureate.
Air con - or lack of it in rooms

Breakfast in the park - was a first for us and was disappointed by this, expected more, better breakfast choice in SL

Was a very good trip in all but never again in the summer

I thought i was going to die on Monday it was so hot. I dont think i have ever sweated so much in my whole life.

The dance convention explains all the groups we kept seeing. I agree there was alot of Spanish. Next year i will do my homework and maybe go in May when all the schools are not on holiday.

Glad you had a good time despite the heat.
I guess breakfast on the park is more about the quieter time/more time than the food - I think last time we had a second sitting as it was all that was left, so we just went in at the last minute and grabbed a drink and one croissant, but had lots of goes on Peter Pan instead!

Next year i will do my homework and maybe go in May when all the schools are not on holiday.

We thought we were safe from all the school holidays, but after this week we have said that in future no later than april, we went mid april last year and it was great.

Now to start planning for October

I guess breakfast on the park is more about the quieter time/more time than the food !

This was just as busy as in the hotels, they had 3 restaurants offering it every day, plaza gardens, chateau de marionette and one other, i guess i was expecting it to be less busy and the same food as the sl, but there was no water on offer and no toaster, which for us was a small problem as ds doesnt drink fresh juice or hot drinks.

But it was a first and we know that in future we will stick to the hotel breakfasts and enjoy emh in full

Me too- so hot! Bigger queues for water fountains than the rides (almost!)

We scurried just as the dance competition parade was starting on tues- a whole lot of excited people!

Yep new this year, not like the ones in wdw but like the ones you get at chessington/thorpe park. Its 35 euros for a book of 5 vouchers that can be used for pics on the rides/character meets/green screen photos. It does save money if you are only buying 1 pic at a time.
