We just returned from our week of the "BEST FUN IN THE SUN EVER". I thought I would make a quick report of where we ate. There was 6 of us in my family. My "Grumpy" husband, myself, 14 yr daughter, 12 yr daughter, 10 yr daughter, and 4 yr old daughter.
Our first morning we ate at Donald's Restrantasaurus. We met another party there so there was 11 of us total. As always, GREAT!
We always do this breakfast and we are NEVER disappointed. We were kidding with our server about trying to "get us" with pranks and he tried but couldn't come up with any new ones, so he sent over someone who did magic tricks! It was quite a treat. The kids loved it. Our PS was 9:50 due to early entry. The food was hot, fresh and plenty of it. A definite do over~
Beaches n Cream was our next stop. I used 2 of the Connection vouchers. They were very helpful when we ordered. Grumpy and I had the prime rib sandwhich. It was VERY good. My husband couldn't believe how tender it was. The kids had hotdogs. For dessert Hubby and I did the banana split (yummy) and the kids did the kitchen sink. I don't know what was funnier the look on the kids faces or the mess it made as they tackled it. It took them awhile but they put a huge dent in it.
Pinnochio's Village- I think this is the name of it. Burgers and Hot dogs nothing special. Good food and not too crowded.
Cosmic Rays- Good burgers! In and out!
Princess breakfast at Norway- We did the castle last year so I was nervous about this one. WOW!! is all I can say. The charaters were: Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle, and Princess Aurora. They were so good with my little one. Food was very good and our server couldn't have been better. She was so nice and attentive. We never had to ask for anything. This is our new favorite!
Flame Tree - I don't know if it was because they were closing or if it is because we get REALLY good BBQ here, but we didn't care for this. The ribs were cold, and the baked beans were just not good. We did get good seats for the parade. We sat in the shade ate and watched the parade.
Prime Time MGM- We alwas try to eat here. The kids get a big kick out of us getting in trouble for our elbows. I had the meatloaf, since my hubby hates it I don't get it at home. It was delicious! He had some kinda of open faced sandwhich and said it was good. It was fun and food was good.
We stayed at Old Key West. Our room had a full kitchen, so we did alot of pizza and hotdogs in our room. All in all we had good food experiences this year. Can't wait until next year!
