Hello All!

We are back from our trip and had a great time. I am slowly working on a trip report but here is the short version.

The Ramada Fountain Park Eastgate was very nice. We paid $20 per nt thru Priceline so we were a little nervous. The rooms are big and all have a balcony. The ammenities and service were excellent. Overall we were very pleased w/ our accomodations and are once again very pleased w/ Priceline. At these rates I don't think we will ever waste the extra money to stay onsite, especially since they don't have early entry anymore :(

Our first day we spent at Cocoa Beach. Then we went to Sea World for a day and we did Epcot the next day and the Magic Kingdom for the other day. On our last day we did Wonderworks (which I wouldn't recommend) and Souvenior shopping.

The parks were really not all that busy. I guess people still aren't traveling due to Sept 11th. The trip report is coming but if you have any questions feel free to ask!!!

I can't believe it's over. At least we have the video!!!

FWIW, EE is back effective 10/1/2002

Extra Magic Hour

Glad you had such a good time - sounds like you got some very good values using Priceline. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your experience with us. :D

Glad you enjoyed your priceline experience.....I have to say that I'm not brave enought to give it a try after my own discount experience...

FYI....early entry is back...:D :D :D :D

We have used priceline for all our WDW stays and we have never had a bad hotel or anything less than a wonderful time. Though I do have to admit if I had known that EE was coming back I probably would have tried staying on site this trip. Oh well, I am going and I am going to have a GREAT time!

I'm glad to hear that you were happy with your PL stay. We've used PL for six different hotel stays and have not been disapointed yet. I'm always amazed at what great deals we've been able to get.

We, too, are just gutless when it comes to trying Priceline. Has anyone ever landed a villa type resort using PL in the Lake Buena Vista area? We are hooked on VR and VV when staying off-site.

My priceline recommendation is to go to www.biddingfortravel.com They maintain an EXTENSIVE list of what people have gotten bidding for hotels in the Orlando area and I have found them right on. I got the DD Disney Hilton for $50 over Veteran's Day and have gotten the Wyndam Palace several times.

I don't think Priceline does condos though.
