We stayed at the BWV two-bedroom Standard view after waitlisting for it (and getting the last night 4 days before our arrival) from Nov 30 thru Dec 5.
We loved our location! I got my request of "close to the elevators". We were in room 5075 (and 5073). I believe our doors were 5th and 6th from the elevators on the left. Our view was of the entrance to BWV.
Nothing was wrong with our room. In fact it was wonderful!
I gave the front desk CM, Sheila, chocolates for getting me the last night on our waitlist and I got to meet her and shake her hand.
We did NOT use the bus for MK or for any park for that matter. We used the boats, walked or used our car. I did not like how long it took to get to/from MGM via the boats so I did walk twice even though it's a long walk when you are tired. The Epcot boat was much faster. The walk wasn't bad but then you have to do lots of walking to get to the Princess breakfast or to Future World. I think I'm spoiled by staying on the monorail and nothing will ever compare to that convinience!
We took my BIL and his family and they were very grateful and bought us dinner the last night there. It worked out fine.
All in all it was a great experience. Going back August and October!
