We're back from CBR - disappointed with luggage service

to pxlbarrel:

I suggest your whole party go and get your bags and then make your way over to the ME. Once your at the ME they just have you wait in line until your bus arrives, it would be a shame (and annoying in my eyes) to have one part of your party there waiting while buses come and go while the other half struggle with getting the bags.

The ME is located on the opposite terminal from where I usually collect my baggage as well so it makes a lot more sense for me to go get my luggage then make my way to the ME. This is what I suggest you do because once you check in with the ME they let your resort bus know that 5 ppl (for example) are here and waiting for that bus, which may not be the case if you aren;t ready to go.

Hope that helps you out a little.

Helps out big time. Thanks very much to everybody for their help. :thumbsup2 I think that's what we'll do...mainly because we're just planning on hanging out at the resort the first day. I think we clear customs and immigration in Canada so even that's not a problem...but I'm just such a paranoid person that I want to make sure all of our bags arrived before leaving the airport. This seems to be the very best solution.

We used ME on the 8th arriving and on the 13th departing and all went well. It took about 3.5 hours to have it delivered to our room.:thumbsup2 Definitely sounds like OP had a not so magical ME experience. Hope it goes smoother next time:goodvibes
