First of all....

15 DAYS TO GO!!!

Which bring me to.... I NEED TO START PACKING!

I can't believe myself this trip. Trips before, 15 days on the countdown I would have almost everything packed. But this one that is the most important of all my past trips...I still haven't pack anything. I'm going to blame...SCHOOL WORK. I've been taking online classes this Summer (yes, I know, never again!) because I want to finish my masters in Fall. I didn't know that taking online classes was almost thrice the effort of being in the classroom. I didn't expect them to be easy but geesh! What a load!

But...no more...I'll start today after finishing my readings!!!

This weekend we decided to put our annual passes for Busch Garden at use once more. So, after church, we headed to BG. I notice that the summer is almost over. There were a lot of cars at the parking lot, but all the lines were 15min long at most. I'm starting to like more and more living here in FL. Here couple of pics:

After ridding SheiKra once more. Ignore my weird face. I'm trying to figure out how to take self-portraits with my iPhone. It's kind of hard holding in it.

It was a great afternoon. We were almost going home when we decided to stop at one of the shops. We saw this artist doing names in a very particularly way. We were mesmerize and ended buying our names in a 6x6 for $10.

Also, this weekend we confirmed that some of our church friends from Puerto Rico are coming to Orlando for the Night of Joy at Disney (Sept 11-12). My hubby and I are not GREAT fans of this but we enjoy the music...and the company will be a blast!

So, we did our numbers (budget wise) and decided to go. We couldn't miss the opportunity just to be with them! We found two cool things about this buy:
1) When you buy a ticket you receive ONE-DAY ONE PARK admission for the day. Which means I'll be at DISNEY 2 weekends in a row!!!!!!

2) If you buy 10 tickets or more, they give you one free.

My youngest BIL is part of the group but couldn't afford the trip. We talked with the rest of the group and agreed to give the ticket to him. Hubby and I, did our numbers again and we think we could afford his airfare from Puerto Rico to Orlando. He can stay with us and we can share the meal expenses. We haven't told him yet until we confirm everything, but I'm so excited we can do this!!!! Especially my Hubby!!!!

Another thing I was thinking was how to make my PRT more attractive to readers. I got an idea....Maybe I have to include something more attractive to it...Maybe our photos are not enough...so I asked two VERY attractive fellas to give me a hand...

I'm soooo jealous you get to go to Night of Joy! DH and I want to go sometime. I don't know why we didn't just go a week or so earlier so we could see it. Oh well.

I haven't post anything in a while. We had to fly to Puerto Rico to go to a funeral . My Hubby's Grams died. He is fine but it was an intense weekend. She died on Thursday morning and we were flying back home in the afternoon. Almost all the family could make it and it was a very nice service, filled with love and a lot of family moments. After the service, everybody went to a get together to celebrate her life. Somebody would think that it is not proper for a funeral to celebrate, but we know that is the way she always wanted. It was a great family reunion after all.


But now, I'm back...with a research paper on my back, some packing to do and only

8 Days to Go!

Hi Everybody!

School Work has been crazy these days closing to the end of the summer quarter (which luckly ends on August 26th, the day We are going to Disney!). But I manage to pack our clothes in the two carry-ons we are taking and started piling the other stuff we are taking like the camel pack and the camera bag.

I bought a new lens for my Nikon D40, a macro lens 70-300mm on ebay that I'm planning to test in the park.

Now, no character will be far enough!

Here is my TO-DO list before leave:
* Pack all the toiletries (Shampoo, Cond, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap)
* Pack personals (My face cleaning stuff, perfume, deodorant, etc)
* Pack Hairpins, brushes and comb
* Check the SD cards, empty them and format them.
* Recharge both camera batteries
* Pack camera bag (2 lenses, 2 batteries, 2 SD cards, Gorillapod, Nikon D40)
* Passporter ( A MUST for us for every trip)
* 30th Birthday Decorations (For the room, and for my own satisfaction)
* Print online Check In Confirmation and Dining Confirmation
* Pack some snacks (just in case)
* Wash Car ( We are driving, it has to been spotted clean when it enters the WORLD )
*** Finish AND Submit my Research paper!!!!!

Wow, I still have a lot to do! The most crusial right now is the paper, so I better get going.

OMG.......

HEY EVERYBODY!!!

Almost there! My research paper is almost done. I just need to proof read it once more and submit it before midnight today. And I'll be done with this summer quarter.

I'm almost done with the packing. Need to wash some last minute clothes that DH wants to take. I'll be doing that while finishing my paper.

And this afternoon, I'm planning on pampering myself before my Birthday: a make over to start this new decade!!! hahahaha. I'll post the photos later!!

Hi everybody!!!

I'm pack and ready to go....The plans are as follow:

7-12m Hubby @ work, Me finishing up packing and doing myself a pedicure
12m Hubby out of work...Me, preparing lunch and waiting.
1pm- OFF to Neverland!.....I mean, Disney!
3pm- Hope to arrive to SSR, Check In and if our room is not ready, go to wonder around the place
5pm Go to the room unpack, unwind and off to DTD, Look for my Birthday pin and a possible watch.
7:30pm Heading to Planet Hollywood
9pm Walk back to the hotel
