Well, we are back. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge from June 15th to the 21st. My first impression of the resort was "wow!" It is definately worth seeing even if you are not staying there. I found the resort be be very well themed, cast members were great as were the mousekeepers. I did have to put a note requesting towel animals on the tip envelope for the third day and the next day we had them.
One thing we did not get that we requested were bunk beds. That was partly my fault. I had forgot requesting them and when I went to check in, the cm told me if we waited another hour or so we would have a better view from the courtyard. We did have a neat view on the 4th floor overlooking the waterfall. We could even see the water pageant at night from our balcony. All in all I loved the resort but we will be going back to my beloved Boardwalk in 2006. At least I can say I tried it!!!
Our daughter got to be in the Lion King show. We had the prince & princess add on so we were up front. She also had on a birthday pin during Spectromagic and we videotaped Cinderella waving to her from the carriage and saying "Happy Birthday." Talk about magical. She also attended the Tea Party with Alice at 199 Park Fare. She had a ball and it was worth the $27.
It was hot but practically no rain. I do have to say it was much more crowded than last time we went. One of the cm's pointed out it may have been because the first trip was the summer after 9/11 and the crowds were still minimal for Disney standards.
We did e-ride nights and it was much less crowded but after a full day our daughter was exhausted by 11:30. We will do it again next time but plan better.
Lat but not least, anyone who can get ps for Cinderella's breakfast...it is AWESOME!!!
Any ????? I'll be happy to answer!:) :wave2:
