We're all decorated!

Just finished up with the tree. Even have the monorail running around underneath of it. Lights around up on the roof and I have so many candles burning, the house smells like Cracker Barrel (I found a wax melt that smells exactly like their gift shop ) All the non-Christmas knick-nacks have been packed away and all the Christmas decorations have taken their place. Oh yeah, I'm drinking egg nog.........perfect evening!! Why all the rush..........welll next week this time, I'll be franticly packing the van to head down to WDW! We don't get home til the week before so I'm getting as much as I can done now.

I just finished today as well. There was no way on this green earth I was going out shopping today, so up went the tree, decorations abound, the fall wreath was put away and the Christmas wreath is now out. I love it. I have the lights in the house on low (dimmers) and the tree on, sitting here eating chicken fried rice and drinking a glass of wine. If I didn't have to work this weekend, life would be perfect.

Wow, you all are quick! You must be exhausted too!

I have sorted my boxes and pulled out the ones that have decorations in them (as opposed to ornaments for the tree), but that is about as far as I have gotten. Hope to put the tree up some time on Sunday if all goes as planned.

I can't take all the credit.....I also chose today because the kids were off of school today. It's nice that they are big enough to help out. They aren't as happy to help take it all down though. Then again, neither am I!!

Keep in mind we just moved in late October and we no longer have a fireplace so the only place I could find to hang out stockings were in the window sill (don't laugh). The new place is small but I love it.

Got my tree up last night. DH had to work last night so I was alone and got out the decorations and got the tree decorated. Starting to look like Christmas here.

Oh how fun! We are going to do that this weekend sometime. Will do outdoor lights next weekend though....

The girls are getting the monorail from Santa so will be traveling around our tree on Christmas morning!

We put up outside lights today, lighted reindeer, Christmas wreath, etc. The Christmas tree is up inside, but I'm fluffing and decorating it tomorrow. If I think about it I'll take a picture soon.

We did outdoor lights last weekend because it was really warm for Nov but didn't turn them on until today. I bought some cute Candy Cane lights that line our walk and we put the tree in the front bay window this year..

Speaking of the trr, it is up and decorated and looking gorgeous. We have lots of Mickey ornaments and we always by ornaments when we are on vacation so we can decorate the tree with memories. It was hysterical watching DD sitting on DH's shoulders trying to put the angel on top of the tree. It would just not stay... We finally got it in place and all is well. Tomorrow we will start the Christmas village but that takes a few hours to get everything in place and the cords hidden.

We are going to try and get DD's pic with the dogs tomorrow for our Christmas picture so I will post pics then.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Mine is going up in bits and pieces. Working has put my plans behind schedule. Will work tomorrow on it as soon as I get home from work. I love the pics so far.

Looks great!! Im jealous... I want to have mine up but Im just not sure Im gonna have the time this weekend like I had planned.. Hoping to go get my tree tomorrow and have it ready for the kids to help decorate when they return home on Sunday.. I guess the rest of the decorations will have to be put up some time this week..

I haven't really even started yet. I have a Christmas comforter on the bed in the guest room but that is only because I just got it and instead of sticking it in the attic for a couple weeks I put it out. I do have most of my lights up outside. I took advantage of a nice day last week and did that. I have a bit more to finish and I will probably do that today. I think I will probably start putting the rest of the stuff out on Monday. We won't get our tree until the weekend of the 10th (we cut down a tree each year).

The wreath was made by my son in law as my Christmas gift last year. The poinsettia is real, I found it at Target and I had to have it. I had never seen a blue one before.
