It was really crowded with LOTS of tour groups...mainly kids and teens from foreign countries. Wait times for rides were anywhere from 40 mins to 60 mins. Even had wait times for the kiddie rides like 20 mins.

I noticed that the killer whale shows were Not that great like they were in the past. I understand for the safety of the trainers they are no longer allowed in the tanks with the whales but that is part of what made it so awesome in the past. The whales only did a few jumps like 4 maybe. They barely made any effort...it seemed like the whales didn't want to perform. :confused3 I noticed the trainers giving commands over and over.

The Dolphin Blue Horizons show was Awesome!!!! We also loved feeding the sting rays..had alot of good laughs there. It was $5 a tray of fish or $4 with annual discount.
The Dolphin Cove was also fun...$7.00 per person who enters to feed the dolphins or $6 with discount. You had to go into the area in groups and you had a few minutes to feed and pet dolphins. I actually like the way it is done...keeps people from being pushy and gives everyone a turn.

We didn't do the Shark Encounter, there was a line waiting outside to get in.

If you want to feed the sealions you need to do so before 5 o'clock. We got there at that time and she just locked up and took several buckets to the seals and sea lions , feed them, and left. :guilty:

The Dining Plan was another big plus!!! We got way more than our money's worth. Water is 2.79 a bottle and I know between me and 2 kids plus my baby we would have spent over $50 in water and drinks without the dining plan. We also got lots of snacks inside the air conditions restaurants like strawberries and watermelon or pickles with drinks to take breaks. The fruit was 3.29 i think per bowl.

I need to get on photobucket and upload pics tomorrow and then will post pics then.

Hi Disneycrazy! Glad to hear about your experience at Seaworld! I cant wait to see some of the pictures!

Its unfortunate about the park being so crowded! But it seems like you still had a great time!

As far as the Killer Whale shows go, Keep in mind that there are around 7 shows per day in the summer time. Its tiring on any animal. So some shows, they keep whales out of the show to give them a break. Also, there are currently 3 adult whales at Seaworld Orlando, and each whale knows different behaviors from the other. One of those whales is currently pregnant and due in October so she is very limited on what she can do which is why you may have seen alot of the same behaviors. And the baby whales only know a certain amount of behaviors right now. You may have seen an off show for the day. Hopefully when the safety procedures are complete, the trainers will re enter the water with the whales.

Hope you consider coming back and seeing the stuff you missed out like the shark encounter! Maybe a slower time of your would be best. And remember the great offers like the $5 child ticket that Seaworld has. Also Seaworld offers quick queue which allows front of the line access at the rides. Its worth it especially in the summer time when its so crowded! Thanks for sharing your experience!
