Went to MK today. Surprised at how crowded it was!

DD and I went over to MK today. I couldn't believe the crowd. It reminded me of mid-June. You had to keep dodging around people just to walk. We didn't even try to get on any rides. We left and went over to Epcot. Epcot wasn't bad at all.

Maybe lots of out-of-towners and locals are taking advantage of the 3 day weekend .

I was just going to mention that as well, it's Columbus Day weekend so many have off tomorrow.

Hi Ferelpeg -- Dh and I were also in Epcot today!!! We ate "around the world" and had a great time.

I noticed the crowds getting heavier at MK over the past several days and I'm not sure it's entirely because of the holiday weekend or if this is just the beginning of "what is to come" over the next few months as we get into the holiday season. With F&W and the MNSSHP going on right now, I wonder if the crowds are here to stay.

I too just returned from 4 days at the WL and I did not expect the crowds to be what they were! It was very crowded at EPCOT last night.........also hit the outlet mall before returning home and it was almost like Christmas shopping, I knew it was going to be busier but it was much worse than I expected! Got to see Starship a couple of times and they were very good! Along with all of the food and wine

Also keep in mind that a lot of people that were supposed to be at WDW in August/September that had to reschedule due to Charley, Frances and Jeanne choose this weekend because it was a long weekend, the park hours are later and there is a Halloween party on Tuesday. Granted there are a lot of locals due to to the 3 day weekend, most of the crowd is due to rescheduled vacations due to the Hurricanes.
